What or who inspires you and
why?
The first fourteen years of my life
revolved around my mother, and
her life revolved around us as her
children. She sacrificed everything
to make sure that we had the chance
to maximise our possibilities.
Is what you’re doing now
different to what you initially
wanted to do?
When I came to UCT and I did my
first year, I could see that most of the
courses I was doing were related to
construction, but there were not a lot
of numbers. That was quite surprising
